Excellent choice of meals served hot a d freshly cooked. This was our first visit having been let down by the one we normally use. Have decided as a family to make this our first choice of pubs to go to as choice food and costs were better Vegetarian options: Reasonable choice Parking: As pub very busy needed to use layby

First time here. Didn't dissapoint. Food lovely and fairly priced. Old style, old achool pub. Roaring fire. Great atmosphere. My parents and teens loved it too. Great menu. Husbamd loved beer choice as they have Beavertown.

Had a really lovely afternoon, great food at a really reasonable price and large portions. Staff were super friendly and the decor was stunning. Will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful meet up with our old neighbours who had moved to Devon. Food and service good as always, pies especially tasty. Could do with a little more room between tables but always full. Probably be even more difficult to get a late booking now after this review!

Wonderful country pub, great food, friendly, helpful service and everyone made to feel welcome. This was a Christmas visit and the decorations are amazing, creating the best Christmas atmosphere! (We had a vegan guest with us and as we pre-ordered food they were well catered for)

We visited The Waggon & Horses for our works Christmas meal this year. The pub was decorated beautifully and the service was outstanding. We really enjoyed ourselves. We would love to come back again. Highly recommended.

Visited today with friends, we have to wait over an hour for our food, that's a bit to long. Staff were friendly and approachable. Food was nice and fresh we all enjoyed. Small pub in local village, quiet surroundings area with pond cross the road. Not enough vegetarian options. Overall nice place.

We loved the location and the garden! Arrived here on a Monday afternoon, starving, after one day on the road. The weather was pleasant, the ducks in the pond next to the pub friendly. Food was fantastic and beautifully presented! We loved the bacon, liver and veg dish and the smoked salmon and prawns salad. Prices are good value, staff very friendly... I would recommend it if you are in the area.
